We decided to take an adventure and go on our first camping trip as a family. We ended up at Cloudland Canyon State park about 2 hrs from home. We had a fantastic time, although we were all pretty exhausted by the end. It figures that even though Georgia weather has been in the 70's, the weekend we decide to go it dipped down to 29 degrees overnight. Needless to say, we were cold. The kids took it like camps though, they loved every minute of it, and Gentry made the boy scouts proud. Mr. Eagle Scout did a fantastic job. He defiantly was "prepared". Gentry and Ethan did all the fire building, and though his sister Abby pushed him into the fire (minor mishap) Ethan still loves camping and building fires with his dad. I have to say I was a little sceptical about camping with a 2 year old, but Abby held her own and really enjoyed the whole experience.

At first, the picture of Gentry camping - it looked like his jacket collar could be his hair. And I thought to myself - what? And then I realized it was his jacket. He. Glad you all had a good trip!
